    – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle gives a nice answer to your first question, but it isn’t a question you need personal experience for to answer.
    – It’s important to test if the app can be used by the average user and works as expected. But that’s not only for mobile apps, that’s for all software you write for other people to use.
